Midst the wildness (but almost dull??) of modern existence, the simple pleasures of life often escape us. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the hugs & kisses from your precious littles, or from your fur-babies.... can bring us immense joy. Yet, in our everyday, we turn away from these moments of happiness, failing to embrace the wonderful life that surrounds us. Usually I feel super anxious knowing this too.

For many months now I have been uber careful about this, countless times a day I am thanking our good Lord for my babies, my husband and the health of our family...along with anything that comes up during the day.  As long as there is no snow on the ground I plant my smelly feet ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜ญ in the ground and usually say in my mind a few things I am truly grateful for. Honestly I jump around a bit too & wiggle my toes down like an activation I call it ha. By taking time to pause and appreciate these passing moments, we can cultivate a sense of gratitude and find peace in the present. That is what I am striving for PEACE in the PRESENT. Notice I said striving meaning I am not there just yet but I'm working on it. ✝ ‧₊˚ ☁️⋅♡๐“‚ƒ ࣪ ִֶָ☾. To truly apply this essence of mindfulness, we must learn to let go of distractions and judgments (harrrrd but doable. Accountability baby).  Whether through the practice of guided meditation, yoga ( my yoga is doing willy nilly leg things in the air from the counter), or simply saying over and over in your head how thankful you are, we can tap into the power of the NOW. This gift, if you will bestows upon us the ability (with your help) to release stress, anxiety, and negativity, whilst sharpening our focus, memory, and emotional regulation.

Aim to not forget the light✨ that surrounds us, and embrace the present with open hearts and minds as a gentle reminder we are not the ones who see the whole picture. Living by this advantage we learn to observe our thoughts and emotions with less judgment, allowing them to come and go like clouds in the sky ☁☁☁☁....love me some clouds LOL.
We become more sensitive to our bodies, our senses, and the world around us, deepening our appreciation for the simple pleasures that bring smiles to our pretty little faces. Mindfulness & Devotion are not a panacea (real embarrassing if you ever hear how I pronounce this, think along the lines of pancake LOL) for all of life's hurtles. We will still encounter difficulties and hardships as we all know, but by taking this approach, we can develop the resilience and inner strength to face them with grace and tools to navigate the internals. Take a minute to be still, & thank God for all your blessings and to acknowledge that you are experiencing this moment, right here, right now.

 Thank You
